SEMAA Family Café Programs
While students are in the AEL, your parents, guardians, and family members are invited to participate in an equally important program in the Family Café. The Family Café is an interactive group that provides interesting guest speakers and important discussions. Besides the great food, fun, and friendship, information on local resources and programs are also shared. There will be discussions on such topics as encouraging academically successful students, preparing children for college, understanding parenting styles, and creating fun opportunities for family time.
The Family Café will be open to family members of participating students every Saturday morning that students are in the Academy from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We will have refreshments, special speakers, activities and round-table discussions designed to make your time there a rich and rewarding experience.
