2005 Winter Session
for 7 th & 8 th Grade Students

Eight Saturdays of Fun and Exciting Activities
in the new Aerospace Education Laboratory at TSU
If you are a seventh or eight grade student who is interested in aerospace you are invited to participate in the free Winter Session for the SEMAA program.
AEL Program
The SEMAA/AEL winter session begins on Saturday, January 22, 2005 and will run for eight consecutive Saturdays. The Academy will end on the 12 th of March with a graduation celebration. The sessions will begin promptly at 9:00 am and end at 12:00 pm in the TSU Aerospace Education Laboratory (AEL) in Lawson Hall. If you are interested in accepting this very exciting mission, the completed application must be returned no later than Monday, January 10, 2005. Enrollment is limited, so return your application as soon as possible. You must plan on coming to all eight Saturday sessions.
Parent Café
While you are in the AEL, your parents, guardians, and family members are invited to participate in an equally important program in the Family Café. The Family Café is an interactive group that provides interesting guest speakers and important discussions. Besides the great food, fun, and friendship, information on local resources and programs are also shared. There will be discussions on such topics as encouraging academically successful students, preparing children for college, understanding parenting styles, and creating fun opportunities for family time.

TSU SEMAA Program Aerospace Education Laboratory Family Café
Directions
TSU's Aerospace Education Laboratory is in Lawson Hall which is located on John Merritt Blvd., two blocks west of 28 th Ave. and Jefferson Ave., next to the Hale Football Stadium. Free parking is available across the street from Lawson Hall on 30 th and 31 st Avenues.
